About The Inn:
Built as a private residence in 1872, The Inn was converted into a guest house in 1923 and has retained much of its
Victorian detail and charm.
A grand stairway, tall ceilings and detailed moldings are hallmarks of grand homes of the Victorian era, and The Marblehead Inn echoes these details and much more. It is truly a grand mansion and from the moment you walk in you can sense the history and the graciousness that keep guests coming back year after year. Each of our 11 rooms and suites are elegant and comfortable.
Our Innkeepers John and Karlene are extremely welcoming and cordial and have a wealth of knowledge of the building, its many guests (some famous), and of the wonderful town of Marblehead. The Marblehead Inn is within walking distance (less than ½ mile) to downtown and to Marblehead’s largest public beach, Devereaux Beach.
April 2013: The dining area expansion is finished!
We've doubled the space of the dining area by breaking down a wall and adding bar style seating/dining in addition to the traditional dining room table. Come sit by the fireplace in one of our club chairs and relax with a cup of coffee.
Coming Soon (Spring of 2013): The tennis court behind the Inn is going to be transformed!
It will be carefully crafted into a beautiful garden area complete with a gazebo and will be ready for hosting your next event!

About the Management Company:
Bluefish Property Group LLC (BPG) took over management of the Marblehead Inn upon the transfer of its owners in early 2011.
With the expertise of the new Inn Keepers and the support of BPG, the Marblehead Inn has become an award winning Inn (Trip Advisor 2012).
BPG is a Marblehead-based real estate investment and management company. It directly manages all the properties held by its investors and investment funds. Each property BPG manages is unique and BPG takes pride in their performance. With a focus on providing safe, clean, comfortable units for tenants and guests BPG has been able to build a unique portfolio of real estate in the North Shore ranging from harbor-front weekly rental units on Bearskin Neck in Rockport, to a beautiful Inn in Marblehead, and of course more traditional New England apartment complexes. BPG views real estate as a long term investment so the focus is both on short-term cash flow results as well as longer term capital appreciation. By reinvesting in property improvements and practicing ongoing maintenance, BPG believes they can provide amenities to attract high quality tenants and guests and maximize long term financial results. |
